Revenue management in sports venues is a complex task that involves dynamic pricing, event scheduling, and resource allocation. This paper explores the application of the
Bee Algorithm (BA) in optimizing these tasks to maximize venue revenue. The BA, inspired by the foraging behavior of bees, offers a novel approach to solving optimization problems by exploring and exploiting a solution space. Through a detailed literature review and MATLAB-based case study, the paper demonstrates how the Bee Algorithm can be applied to dynamic pricing, event scheduling, and demand forecasting in sports venues. The results show that BA outperforms traditional pricing models and scheduling algorithms by adjusting to demand fluctuations, optimizing resource allocation, and increasing revenue. However, challenges such as computational complexity and the risk of local optima remain. The study concludes that the BA is a promising tool for revenue management in sports venues and suggests further research on hybridizing BA with other optimization techniques for enhanced performance.
